BruWind Postdoctoral Researcher

The postdoc researcher will be the scientific link and single contact point between the industry and the BruWind partners.

He/she will convey technical questions and requests, varying from expertise questions to more academic questions from industry to the consortium and accompany the formulations of the answers back to industry. This will be done in close relationship with the different key-players of our Consortium partners.

Besides the above mentioned technical liaison between industry and our research partners, the postdoc researcher will also perform industrial research contract work in the field of monitoring, data-analysis and O&M decisions. BruWind will initially focus on these topics. Therefore, the applicant for the postdoc position should prefarably have a track record in monitoring and/or instrumentation, data-analysis or maintenance decisions. To enhance valorization opportunities, it will be important to streamline the efforts of the BruWind members in order to provide a consistent and uniform offer to industry.

In addition to the tasks described above, he/she should also invest time in finding and securing industrial leads and in marketing the BruWind expertise and technology towards industry or other stakeholders. This has to be done in close cooperation with the other BruWind team members and the business developer (e.g., support with industrial research projects (EU, IWT, Innoviris, …). He/she will also provide input for updating the website, writing articles for Newsletters, and helping to organize the yearly BruWind event.

The profile of the Postdoc Researcher should be:

·       PhD in the field of condition monitoring systems, data analysis or maintenance decisions
